Hello and welcome to my excerpts. I write 2 very diffrent genres.
The first is contemporary romantic suspense. I love how action and romance can collide, how mystery and chemistry can set fire to the pages and thus our imaginations. "Kat's Escape and "Laura's Search" are my versions of that.
"Kat's Escape" is about a woman who thought her first love was out of her grasp and so moved on to someone new. Kaitlyn married Chris and thought she had gotten the companion, friend, and helpmate she had always wanted so when things got violent she was shocked. One day she discovers that she is pregnant. She knows Chris will be furious, and upon discovering that a family tragedy had occurred, she flees from beautiful Virginia to the sprawling Utah Mountains. Here the love she had given up on comes back into her life in the form of Jonathan Perry. As she tries to embrace it and discover herself evil follows her at every turn. Jon is a cop and he is determined to protect Kaitlyn, even if it means setting her free. Together the face an enemy worse than death. Can they triumph? Can love prevail? "Laura's Search" is the story of Laura and Skip Dixon. In one horrible moment their world is shattered as Laura is left for dead and their daughter taken. The second genre I adore is fantasy adventure. I love the world of elves and druids, ghosts and magic. I love how anything you can imagine becomes commonplace. I am currently working on a fantasy series with my amazing husband.
